Our Favorite iPhone 6s Accessories So Far

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are selling like hotcakes: Apple sold over 13 million of its flagship devices in its opening week alone, trumping last year’s figures.

But I’m also sure that out of those 13 million iPhones about 7 million of them are probably broken in some way now. And I’m surer that another 3 million are missing out on some cool things that can really complement the experience of having a phone.

Here are a few iPhone 6s accessories that are currently our favorites and what I would consider must-haves:

Seidio’s Surface Case

Two in one cases and kickstands are regulars in the smart phone market, but one of the best ones today is Seidio’s Surface case. It also doesn’t look butt-ugly (which is why I was guilty of cracking my screens before finding this – I just couldn’t sacrifice form factor and design for protection). It protects the iPhone with a thin layer of TPU and polycarbonate, protecting the smart phone from dents, scratches, and other forms of damage. It is light and not bulky – it will feel like it’s not there at all.

It also comes with a metal kickstand and a wide variety of color options.

Outdoor Tech Buckshot Pro

We’re not sure how you’ll end up using a speaker while you’re out in the great frontier, but Outdoor Tech takes this pretty seriously: it created the Buckshot Pro, a cross between a Bluetooth speaker, flashlight, and a power bank. It can give you 10 hours-long worth of music playback as well.

The device comes with a nifty bike mount and strobe light, which is perfect for campfire gatherings, ghost stories, and roasted marshmallows under the stars.

Belkin Car Vent Mount

You should never handle your phone while driving, but luckily, the iPhone 6s (along with earlier models) have touch-free functions thanks to Siri. The Belkin Car Vent Mount gives you a place to put your phone in while driving, keeping it in full view. With it, you can safely take calls (via voice commands) and keep your phone in plain view – which is important if you’re using it for navigational purposes.

It can be adjusted to either put your phone in landscape or portrait mode.

Monoprice Battery Pack/Charger

It uses your Lightning cable to connect with your iPhone 6s and is capable of fully charging your device twice a single go. The device also features an LED flashlight, while blue LEDs on its side indicate the amount of power it has left.

The battery backup features a 5200 mAh battery and a maximum charge output of 1.5A.

Jorno Tri-folding Bluetooth Keyboard

It’s a thin Bluetooth keyboard, which means it can connect to your phone anywhere at any given time.

Arguably one of the most unique iPhone 6s accessories out there, it allows you to easily type documents anywhere, regardless if you’re taking a train ride or are waiting it out in the dentist’s office. It’s best used for installed word processor apps or in the Notes app in the 6s.

Purchasing it comes with the keyboard, a case which doubles as your iPhone’s stand, and a micro-USB charging cable. It only weighs in at a respectable seven ounces – I bring this baby wherever I go since I need to work… all the time.

mPact Extreme Glass Screen Protector

Although the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus come with scratch-resistant touchscreens, you can never be too careful: scratches can still appear despite how meticulous you are in ensuring that they won’t. Though you can get sufficient protection from plastic screen protectors, annoying bubbles appear right after you put them, making the screen look like an eyesore.

The mPact Extreme Glass Screen Protector prevents the above-mentioned problems: it’s made out of tempered glass, providing heavy-duty protection without sacrificing aesthetics and functionality. It’s not that thick and it leaves room around the edges, giving you space to protect your phone with a case. After applying it, it will feel like it isn’t there.

Klipsch R6i in-ear headphones

Unlike most headphones on the market, the Klipsch R6i is compatible with all iOS features, allowing you to call, adjust the volume, and control music playback by using the in-line remote on the device. It functions more like an Apple earphone, and the sound quality is top-notch (and I usually hate earbuds).

Klipsch is a decades-old company known for creating high quality loudspeakers, so it’s no surprise that the R6i is up there in the world of earphones. The price may be too high for the average consumer at a hundred dollars, but you will definitely get your money’s worth if you purchase one.

Overall, these iPhone 6s accessories are a definitely must-have items if you’re looking for stuff to pair up with your smart phone – just really know what you need. I think that each of these accessories serves as a nice suite for the always-on persona (if it weren’t for the Belkin, I would have crashed my car already)
